Perhaps you have signed the permission slip to allow your child to walk to school with the "walking bus" on the first Thursday of each month, except for January, for the rest of the year. If you haven't signed the permission slip and would like to join in on this activity, give Ms. Mathis a call and ask for another slip.

Our three walking school buses leave promptly from the following locations:

McClean & Bower at 7:05 am

Robin & Electric at 6:50 am

Sycamore Dr & Sycamore Station at 7:05 am

Each walking school bus is lead by Winnona Park staff members and parent volunteers. Students living in the adjacent neighborhood don't have to join one of the walking school buses, they can just walk to school as usual.

The walking school buses are for the morning commute only.
